We are the Creative Ambassadors! Whether you’re a closet dancer or someone who can never get off the dance floor, we are pleased to let you know that here, at IEC, we love to worship and yes, that includes Dance! Worship Dance is expressing love and adoration to God through the creative form of dance and movement. We go beyond words to spread a message of love, hope and faith and lead followers of Christ into deeper expressions of worship, creatively and with excellence.

Regardless of your age, there is a team for you! Please see below for ages, practice dates and times.

Children (5-11) Thursdays 6:30 – 7:30
Youth (12-17) Thursdays 7:30 – 9:00
Adults (18+) Thursdays 7:30 – 9:00
Seniors (65+) Dates vary, please inquire

*Weekly practices incorporate devotional, exercise and choreography. Practices are located in the Sanctuary

*We welcome dance requests for formal and informal occasions.

Inspiring women to walk in love and grace of the Father and empowering them to use their giftings for the glory of God and disciple other women. Also to nurture, facilitate and support women in their Christian walk as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Join us as we take the wonders of the bible and bring them to life in modern day and biblical presentations. As a team we produce, direct, write, and at times adapt plays for IEC Christmas and Easter productions. Each production is designed to glorify the Lord, revealing that the God of yesterday is the same God of today. We are always looking for new members, so whether it means being behind the scenes or centre stage, we would love to have you minister with us.

Meetings are Thursday evenings from 7 to 9pm

IEC provides up to five Scholarships and one Community Award annually. Recipients are aged 17 – 30; are active participants at and/or have family members who attend IEC or; volunteer in their communities and have commendable academic records in their pursuit of a post-secondary education at an accredited educational facility.

Funding is mostly from events such as bus trips, Tea parties, Scholarship Lunch, Patty Sales, Garage Sales, donations, etc. As well, the church donates money annually if required.

The Islington Evangel Centre Scholarship Team is committed to supporting the pursuit of further education by the young people in and related to those in our IEC Family.
