Scholarships Recipients
The Scholarship Team would like to congratulate the 2023 Scholarship Recipients.
Ogechukwu (OGE) Ndu
Oge is the recipient of the Academic Scholarship. She is in the Bachelor of Science Nursing program with the expectation of graduating in 2026 and moving into Pediatric Nursing.
Her goals will not stop there, she plans to complete her Master’s degree and become a Travel Nurse. She hopes to inspire other black youth by showing them representation in the medical field.
Her mother, who is her role model, has always taught her the importance of prayer and how knowing the word of God would set her ahead.
Some of her favourite books in the Bible are Proverbs and Philippians; she seeks guidance from both books to understand and control her feelings thereby allowing her to succeed in multiple ways.
Jeshua Gomez
Jeshua is the recipient of the Community Scholarship. He will be pursuing his education in Professional Music or Criminology; he is very interested in both fields and feels he can achieve success in them.
He currently serves as keyboard player and Musical Director for his church’s (Rey De Gloria) worship team, and he enjoys every minute of it. His passion is not only in music, but he also enjoys sports like Soccer and watching Formula One racing.
He has a heart for God and is one of the co-founders of Youth United; an event to bring youth together to praise God.
He is looking forward to what God has planned for his future and is waiting in anticipation.
