1 Peter 4: 10 NIV
In the modern Church, Sunday school remains relevant and vital for spiritual growth, community building, and nurturing a deep and abiding faith if families are exposed to it.
Sunday school is important for families because it allows children to be engaged in a class with child-level examples of sin, the Gospel message, or what obedience to God and a relationship with Him should look like.
Hey Young Adults! Whether you’re juggling school, starting your career, or stepping into a new chapter, there’s a place for you to connect, serve, and grow in your faith at IEC. We get it – adulting can be tough – but you don’t have to do it alone! Join our community of like-minded young adults who are here to support each other and inspire one another to follow Christ.
Get involved with our weekly Life Groups, where you can build deep connections with others in a safe space for authentic conversation. We also host regular social hangouts and in-house events to keep things fun and help you stay connected to the church and your faith.
Come as you are, and let’s grow together!
The Dance Ministry is simply the process by which we use our gift of dance to share the gospel or the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost and to encourage, comfort, and edify the saints in the faith.
The Dance/Flags Ministry aims to bring in God’s presence through dance and flagging, leading to deliverance, salvation, healing, and freedom to worship the Lord.
The Ladies Ministry focuses on teaching the value of community, the power of shared faith, and the importance of individual spiritual journeys. Women are encouraged to explore and deepen their relationship with God and understand their identity and worth in Christ through the study of Scripture, fellowship, and service.
The Care Ministry team advocates for others, embodying spiritual qualities like courage, steadfastness, and self-sacrifice. They are dedicated and disciplined, praying without ceasing and showing mercy, following Jesus’ example.
Do you understand the vital role of the usher ministry? Do you enjoy and care about people? Do you possess a servant’s heart? Are you committed to the vision of your church? Are you supportive of the leadership at your church?
Ushers are expected to maintain a polite and cheerful appearance and approach. They should have a high sense of humility while receiving and dealing with all worshippers, especially at the point of entrance. This is essential as the team will be interacting with people from different backgrounds.
