Celebrate Recovery Ministry more>
Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program to help people overcome their hurts, habits and hang-ups. Based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory, the recovery program is unique and effective in helping people change. The principles of recovery are found – in their logical order – in the Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5 – 7).
Men's Ministry more>
Men's ministry provides a place where men, of all ages, can bond with each other and minister to one another through small groups, breakfast and their retreats. Regular Men’s Fellowship Meetings are held every other Tuesday at 7:30 PM in the Chapel downstairs.
Tax Preparation Ministry more>
This ministry provides help with income tax preparation to those who are single parents, low income parents, low income families or those who are unable to do their own and are financially unable to get help with their income tax.
Altar Workers Ministry
This ministry is to assist those responding to all altar situations. The Altar Worker also has the exciting responsibility to aid those who are making a public response to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Care and Share Ministry
This ministry provides practical assistance of food, house-work, shopping, etc., to those in the IEC church family who are unable to function on their own.
Communion Set-Up Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to prepare the elements and the sanctuary for the Communion service.
Greeters Ministry
The purpose of the Greeter Ministry is to prepare the heart of people by welcoming everyone to IEC with a smile and a warm handshake.
Hosts/Ushers Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to provide assistance to the guests of IEC during the worship service, making sure our guests are welcomed and comfortable as they worship with us.
Information Centre Ministry
The Information Centre Ministry provides an avenue where everyone can receive relevant information pertaining to IEC’s calendar and property.
Intercessors Ministry
This ministry is for those whose hearts are for prayer. Intercessors pray during the Sunday morning service for any immediate requests, and items pertaining to the service.
Kitchen Ministry
This ministry provides support and assistance in any area pertaining to the kitchen at church events or ministry programs.
Ladies Ministry
4 times each year the ladies of IEC, and their guests, get together for fellowship followed by a time of ministry. These times include prayer, testimonies, special guest speakers and women helping each other..
Missions Ministry
In keeping with our Statement of purpose, IEC is committed to sharing the Gospel of Christ and supports a number of full-time missionaries in various parts of the world.
Music Ministries more>
This ministry provides excellent opportunities for the use of God-given talents in many areas. Worship Leaders, Musicians, Worship Teams, Soloists, Choir Members, PowerPoint Personnel, Sound Personnel, and many more minister every week in church services and other events held at IEC.
Sunday School/ Nursery Ministries more>
Children and Jr. High Programs During the 10:30AM Service Only
Nursery: A bright, friendly, supervised nursery is provided for children, up to 4 years old, during Sunday Morning Services, and for some other events.
Nursing Home Outreach Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to conduct a worship service, on selected Sundays of the month, at either the Kipling Acres, Albion Lodge or the Leisure World Nursing Home.
Oasis Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to develop programs that will minister to mature adults, and to nurture and encourage members to further the work of Jesus Christ. OASIS Ministry meets every Wednesday at 7:30PM.
Office Ministry
This ministry assist the IEC Office Staff with simple tasks such as filing, folding, stuffing bulletins, mailings, photocopying, faxing, etc..
Parish Nurse Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to promote a health and wellness ministry to those who attend IEC, and the surrounding community.
Prayer Chain Ministry
The Prayer Chain is made up of men and women from our congregation and is intended to provide prayer support for members and adherents of IEC in times of desperate needs.
Prayer Meetings Ministry
There are several opportunities for corporate prayer here at IEC. Click here to see the dates on the monthly calendar. Prayer meetings are held at the following times: Tuesdays 9-10 AM, Fridays 6:30 – 7:30 AM & Fridays 7:30 PM. All are welcome!
Small Groups Ministry
This ministry serves to equip men and women to lead and serve small groups in homes, acting as Lay Pastors for those who attend.
Traffic & Transportation Ministry
This ministry (1) provides a shuttle service for those who attend the Sunday 10:30 AM worship service, (2) assist with the flow of traffic in and out of IEC and (3) ensure that all parking regulations are enforced.
Young Adult 19-30’s Ministry
This ministry provides a safe and dynamic place where young adults can learn about and grow in God, while building relationships with others. This ministry takes place every 3rd Saturday of the month.
Visitation Ministry
This ministry extends the love and compassion of Christ to those admitted to the hospital or who are confined to their home for the purpose of physical healing.
Water Baptism Support Ministry
This ministry assist with: (1) the distribution of the gowns and towels to those getting baptized, and (2) the washing and caring of the gowns and towels after the Baptismal service.
Home Group Ministry
The Home Group ministry seeks to ensure that “No one stands alone” in this church. The groups provide a place where you can go where people will care and walk with you through the journey of life. Where can you go to express your gifts and help others in the process.
Every other week, over 100 people meet and do exactly that, care and share with each other
the love of Jesus, encouraging each other and learning about the goodness of God. Currently there are 18 groups meeting at different homes throughout the area and beyond!!
Dance Ministry
The ministry's purpose is to usher in the presence of our Lord to the glory of God the Father through dance" (Psalms 149:3) whether on stage or in the pews.
Showers of Blessing - Single Mom Ministry
Showers of Blessing is a ministry for single mothers that provides a safe and welcoming environment for single mothers of all ages to love GOD by seeing the demonstration of his love by others; be blessed by the fellowship and service of others, dinner banquets, free child care and support group meetings; bless others by using their God given gifts and abilities.
